DOCUMENT SUBMISSION, CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES

This year, we will be using the PowerUp Connect app for team rosters only. Please ensure your roster is entered/uploaded into PowerUp Connect before the tournament.

Required Documents

All teams must submit the following through the Google Form by July 25:

  • Tournament/Festival Checklist
  • Official Ontario Soccer Team Registration Report (TRR) with player and coach photos.
  • Necessary paperwork for any player (AP/Guest) not on your TRR roster sheet (Max. of 3)
  • Approved Travel Permit (teams outside the SOSA District only).
  • One completed Game Sheet with team name, player names, jersey numbers, OSA #’s, and coach’s information (fillable sheet available see below)

Game Sheets

If you upload a completed Game Sheet through the Google Form, tournament staff will add the game-specific information for each match. No additional copies are required.

If you do not upload a completed Game Sheet, you must ensure that all team and game details are completed for each individual match and bring the following copies to the tournament check-in:

  • Festival Teams (U8–U11): 5 copies
  • 4 copies for guaranteed games
  • 1 extra copy
  • Tournament Teams (U12–U18): 6 copies
  • 3 copies for guaranteed games
  • 2 copies for potential semifinal and final matches
  • 1 extra copy
  • Teams are responsible for ensuring all required information is accurately completed on each Game Sheet prior to check-in.

Registration & Check-In

  • Online registration and document submission will remain open until July 25.
  • Teams that do not submit documents online must bring printed copies of all required documents to registration before their first game.
  • If all documents are submitted and approved online, you will only need to pick up your game sheets before your first game. All teams must collect their game sheets prior to their first match.
  • Registration will be open on August 7th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on August 8th and 9th starting at 7:00 AM. The location is tournament headquarters at 75 Couch Crescent, Trenton, Ontario.

Festival Rules (U8 - U11)

Festival Format

a) Teams will be guaranteed four (4) games. Games will be 25 minutes in length, no half time. The festival reserves the right to adjust game times

based on teams registered in each division.

b) There must be a minimum of 30 minutes rest between each game played by any team.

c) Teams will be comprised of the following minimum/maximum number of players dressed and on the bench per game:

U8 (5v5); minimum 4/maximum 12

U9 (5v5); minimum 4/maximum 12

U10-U11 (7v7); minimum 7/maximum 14

d) All teams must be prepared to begin a game 10 minutes prior to the time shown on the schedule.

Tournament Rules (U12 - U18)

Tournament Format

a) Teams will be guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games.

b) Duration of games for U12 & U13 will be 2 X 20-minute halves. Semi-finals and finals for U12 & U13 will be the same. Duration of games for U14 & above will be 2 X 25-minute halves. Semi-finals and finals for U14 & above will be 2 X 30-minute halves.
