Instructions:
The Match Official Schedule has been shared via email.
If your name is highlighted in yellow, you have been designated as the Field Lead Referee. In this role, you are responsible for overseeing your assigned field and providing support to fellow match officials as needed. This includes assisting when a referee is not yet comfortable officiating a center match, providing coverage when a referee requires a break, and responding to any emergencies or unforeseen situations that may arise.
Please ensure you arrive on time and complete the check-in process before the start of your first assigned match.
Match Officials assigned to Centennial Park: Please check in at Tournament Headquarters (HQ) upon arrival. Tournament staff will provide the Field Lead Referee with the referee clipboard for their assigned field. The clipboard will include the match schedule and any other required forms for the day.
The Field Lead Referee is responsible for ensuring the clipboard remains at the assigned field and is accessible to all match officials throughout the day. At the conclusion of the day's matches, the Field Lead Referee must return the clipboard.
Match Officials Assigned to Satellite Fields: may proceed directly to their assigned field upon arrival. The Field Lead Referee is responsible for reporting the attendance of all assigned match officials by sending a message in the designated group chat or by texting 613-305-9424.
The site convenor will provide the referee clipboard for the field, which will include the match schedule and any required forms for the day.
Please return the referee clipboard to the Site Convenor at the conclusion of the day's matches.
Accurately completing the game sheet is essential. Please ensure that you sign the game sheet for every match you officiate. If your name and signature do not appear on the game sheet, we will be unable to verify that you officiated the match, and unfortunately, payment cannot be processed for that game.
For U12 and older semi-final and final matches, a Fourth Official has been assigned. Since the game sheet only includes space for three match officials, the Fourth Official must clearly print and sign their name on the back of the game sheet to ensure their assignment can be verified and payment can be processed.
Payment will be issued by e-transfer within 1–2 weeks following the conclusion of the tournament.
As in previous years, all match officials are required to report to Tournament Headquarters (HQ) at the end of their final day of officiating to review and sign their payment invoice.
If you would like the club to issue a T4A, please have your Social Insurance Number (SIN) available so it can be recorded on your invoice. Alternatively, you may complete the invoice using the link provided below and submit it to Tournament Headquarters (HQ) before the conclusion of the tournament.
Note: You do not need to complete the “Services Rendered” section of the invoice. This section will be completed by the office after verification of the matches officiated.
