All Volunteers Require a Background Check, CRIMINAL RECORD AND VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK
QWSC requires that all volunteers working with youth complete a VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK (VSC). OPP has the application online and it is a very simple process.
Volunteers (Coaches, Managers, Board Members) who will be working with children under the age of 18 are required to provide a Vulnerable Sector (VS) Check. OPP will ask to provide a letter from our organization stating why the VS check is required. Please see a copy of the letter below, or you may obtain a copy of this letter at our office.
Your report is deemed CONFIDENTIAL.
Background checks must be processed by the police service where you live.

Rule of Safety
Safety: A player must not use equipment or wear anything that is dangerous. All items of jewellery (necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, leather bands, rubber bands, etc.) are forbidden and must be removed. Using tape to cover jewellery is not permitted.
