This year, Quinte West Soccer is pleased to offer all families free mobile text alerts. These free notifications are sent directly to your cell phone by the Association and could be regarding game cancellations. Imagine never having to show up for a cancelled game or practice again!!!
We can use text messaging for informing you about cancellations, delays, tournaments, try-outs, or other important issues that need to be delivered to you quickly. The Quinte West Soccer office controls the messaging service and you can rest assured, your cell phone number is kept confidential and you will never get any unauthorized text messages or advertising.
We are using a company called SNSnet and all text messages will come from their Short Code phone number 767638. If you would like more information, visit their website: http://www.smsnet.ca. In Canada, with a monthly cell phone plan or a pay as you go plan with a text messaging option, it costs you nothing to receive text messages.
Please note: Once registered, and just before the season starts, you will receive the following text message on your cell phone asking you to confirm your subscription.
