Additional Notes:

1. Tryouts are open to all players from Quinte West and surrounding areas. Tryouts will be conducted in an open and fair process. All interested players with or without competitive experience are encouraged to attend. 
2. Each player trying out for a Wolverines competitive team MUST be registered for the tryout sessions by completing the Tryout Registration Form and submitting with the applicable tryout fee (if any) before being allowed to participate in the tryout. Outdoor Registration Fees are NOT required to be paid before the tryout. 
3. The Tryout Registration form and fee (if any) must be submitted at the tryout location, NOT at the QWSC Office. Click to download the QWSC 2013 Competitive Tryout Form
4. Tryout fees (if any) are non-refundable.
5. Individual teams may charge a "tryout fee" depending on where the tryouts take place in order to cover the cost of the facility (ie: Loyalist Dome, Turf field, etc.)
6. Players making a Wolverines Competitive Team must also pay QWSC Outdoor Registration Fees and Rep Registration Fees before the 2013 season begins (deadline for payment To Be Announced).

Summary of Services covered by the Rep and Outdoor Registration Fees:

• Uniforms for each player (1 Green and 1 White jersey, 1 pair of shorts, 2 pairs of socks)
• Game balls
• City fields for league games and practices
• All SOSA and ERSL fees
• Entry fees for ERSL Cup (Level 3 & 4 ERSL teams only)
• All Referee and Asst Referee costs for SOSA/ERSL League games and ERSL Cup games
• Up to 2 away tournament entry fees. (based on $400/tournament)
• Free entry in the QWSC Cameron Memorial Tournament in exchange for 20-30 volunteer hours at the tournament
• Use of club pinnies, cones, corner flags (as available and to be returned at year end)
• Use of extra balls for practice (if/when available!)
• Use of First Aid kit

Items not covered by the Rep and Outdoor Registration Fees:

• Additional tournaments
• Tryout/training fees for use of facilities where fees are charged (some gym times, loyalist dome fees etc.)
• Other expenses such as team clothing (wind suits/jackets etc), training aids, extra balls, pinnies, year-end parties etc.
• Goal Keeper equipment such as jerseys, gloves, padded shorts etc.
• Travel expenses for coaches and players
• Team and/or player fines

The procedures and limitations for conducting early tryouts are as follows:
Early" tryouts are defined as tryouts taking place prior to the opening of Outdoor Registration at the Club's "Outdoor Registration Weekend" in February 2013.

• All Wolverine teams that will play in the L5/L6 SOSA loop shall confirm 9 of 14 players for mini-field teams and 12 of 18 players for full-field teams on their roster if they conduct early tryouts. This allows room for players to express their interest in playing for a competitive team at Outdoor Registration Weekend in February 2013. The final roster positions can be filled anytime after Outdoor Registration Weekend.
• All Wolverine teams that play in either the L3 or L4 ERSL loop may select their full team immediately after conducting tryouts no matter when the tryouts take place.
